September Round-Up
New monthly feature
Dear readers, we're excited to introduce a new monthly feature where we'll recap the past four weeks! Every month, you'll get updates on the latest developments on the site and reminders of key posts you might have missed.
In September, we explored several thought-provoking topics:
- We continued our discussion of the Unabomber’s work "Anti-Tech Revolution," focusing on his attempt to define the laws governing the development of social systems.
- We compared Roman emperors to products with a warranty, evaluating how long their reigns "lasted" before the inevitable breakdowns of power.
- We discussed the concept of Boltzmann brains and whether they can be applied to psychohistory.
- We investigated the immortality of social structures, using survival analysis of marriages and states to identify patterns of longevity.
In addition, we've restored our account on Medium and plan to actively develop it. All posts are cross-posted there, so if you find Medium to be a more convenient platform, feel free to follow and read our updates there.
We need your support! If you enjoy our posts, please share them with your friends and colleagues. The more people who join us, the more we can grow the project and bring you exciting new content.
And don’t forget, you can always leave comments and reactions on posts directly through your inbox – your feedback is very important to us!
Thank you for staying with us!
